Sonora Silverworks

Sonora Silverworks was born from a quiet pull toward the earth;  the desire to shape raw elements into something enduring, personal, and worn close to the skin. Each piece begins with stone and silver, materials formed over time, then guided by hand through fire, pressure, and patience. The process is intentionally small-batch and slow, allowing every mark, curve, and texture to remain visible as part of the story.

Deeply inspired by the landscapes of the American Southwest, the work reflects desert horizons, weathered terrain, and the vivid blues and greens of natural turquoise. These stones are not chosen for perfection, but for their individuality, veins, variations, and imperfections that make each setting singular and unrepeatable.

As a self-taught silversmith, the practice behind Sonora Silverworks is rooted in learning through making: refining techniques, honoring traditional metalworking methods, and allowing intuition to guide design. Each piece is hand-forged from start to finish in a small studio, shaped with the intention that it will become a lasting companion — something worn daily, passed down, and slowly woven into the life of its wearer.

Sonora Silverworks exists at the meeting place of earth and hand: metal drawn from the ground, stones shaped by time, and craftsmanship that preserves both.
